Peter Willett (narozený 20. 4. 1953) je profesorem Informační vědy na Univerzitě v Sheffieldu, Anglie. Je především známý pro výzkum v chemoinformatice a jeho vědeckou kariéru. [3]

Vzdělání:

V roce 1975 získal titul MA v přírodních vědách, konkrétně v oboru chemie na Oxfordské univerzitě. Poté vystudoval knihovnictví a informační vědu na univerzitě v Sheffieldu, kde získal titul MSc v oboru informační vědy (1976). Následně v roce 1979 dokončil své doktorské studium s titulem PhD v oboru chemie a v témže roce také začal přednášet na univerzitě v Sheffieldu. V roce 1997 obdržel titul DSc v oboru informační věda.[4]

Zaměstnání:

Peter Willett vedl přednášky na Sheffieldské Univerzitě od roku 1979 a později v roce 1991 byl jmenován profesorem.[4][5]
