Brendan Rodgers Happier Than Ever At Celtic After Securing Title
Brendan Rodgers declared he had actually never ever been happier at Celtic after leading the team to a 4th consecutive title.
The Hoops clinched a 13th William Hill Premiership crown in 14 seasons with a 5-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice.
It was an 11th prize for Rodgers during his 2 spells as Celtic manager and he can complete his third treble if his side in the Scottish Cup last.
The 52-year-old appears to have restored his track record with the large bulk of Celtic fans after leaving mid-season for Leicester in 2019 and he again restated he is committed to serving his three-year contract.
Rodgers concurred it was fair to state he is better than ever in his task and added: "It's been interesting the last few months, individuals choosing where I was supposed to be going and I wasn't delighted.
"But I would say listen to what I say, not what individuals attempt to expect my state of mind and what it may be.

"I stated 150, 200 percent I'll be here for sure next season since we wish to construct again, we wish to grow.
"But what I'll also say, there's extremely, very few individuals that know me and there's even less understand me.
"I don't have a representative, so I don't have a representative spinning a story for me or anything like that. So if there's a heading out there, I am informing you, it's a guess.
"But definitely, I am so, so pleased.
"I came back since of the expert challenge of Celtic, knowing the pressures. My emotional accessory to the club clearly has me here instead of elsewhere. And just the chance to be the very best supervisor at Celtic that I can potentially be. And days like this make it really special."
Rodgers included: "I said minimum I would be here three years.
"The huge thing with Celtic, it has to do with having the energy. That's the big thing, and there's great deals of other things naturally. As any manager, you require to feel desired, you need to feel valued. You need to feel that you can develop a group, you can establish a club.
"So there's lots of things that come into it, but I certainly know that we wish to complete better than we did in 2015. And then I'll go into next year extremely starving to beat this year, whatever we end up doing."
Celtic faced some early pressure before Ryan Strain's 30th-minute own goal started a flurry of goals either side of half-time with Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah both striking doubles to seal the title.
"I know there was a wee bit of chat around, tiresome I believe the word was of somebody, but it's not laborious for me, for the football club," he said.
"If we land at 15 points ahead with fives games left and a plus-42 goal difference ahead of our closest competitor, I'll tell you what, that's not laborious, that's professionalism at its greatest level and concentration and efficiencies."
It was not all positive for Celtic. Jota went off with a knee injury in the very first half and was hobbling severely with his leg heavily braced during the celebrations.
"The medical guys are looking at whether his meniscus is a bit sore," Rodgers said. "We'll simply have to assess that. They put it in the brace to protect it, but we'll see in the next number of days."
Dundee United supervisor Jim Goodwin bemoaned the turning point.
"It sounds bizarre to sit here and state for the opening half an hour I thought we were excellent, the shape of the group was great and we were aggressive with the press, required Celtic into playing a lot longer than they would normally have actually liked," he stated.
"But the very first goal was a genuine kick in the teeth provided it's a little misfortune.
"The 2nd one comes from a promising attack that we had, a tame effort on objective, but then within five or six seconds, with the speed of Celtic on the counter attack, the ball winds up in the back of your internet."
