Harry Derham Stable Tour: 2026/26 Jumps Season Preview
Six-year-old gelding. Nutan x Larmina
OLBG Racing Club
Winner on the flat in Germany and over obstacles in Britain before being purchased privately for The OLBG Racing Club which is gone to support Harry Derham Racing. Placed 5 times for present connections, ranked 124.
Chasing frequently helps horses who travel truly well over difficulties and do not rather see out the trip. There are 12 dives in a two-mile chase, compared to eight in a difficulty, which will certainly assist Lario. He has the size and scope to do well over fences. I'm hoping that chasing draws out improvement, as I do not believe we've seen the very best of him yet. Could start at Chepstow on the 5th of November.
You can follow Lario and two other horses in training with Harry Derham Racing for simply ₤ 10 per month per horse with the OLBG Racing Club. As well as weekly emails packed filled with news, you'll get access to yard sees, draws for owners badges and a calendar of exclusive events.
UPDATE: Won a Beginners Chase at Haydock on 20th December, producing a dazzling round of leaping on his chase launching. "He leapt beautifully today, entered a beautiful rhythm. Hopefully he can make into a genuine good chaser." - Harry

Jus de Citron
Six-year-old gelding. Saint Des Saints x Rapide I.
Edward Ware Esq
. Won on his launching for the backyard in a Newbie Hurdle at Doncaster and completed third on only other run last season. Rated 117.
He suffered a pretty bad obstacle last season and now has 5 screws in his cannon bone. He is back cantering quietly, and we are going for his return after Christmas. He is a truly excellent jumper, and I am looking forward to him going chasing. I believe on good ground, he can make up into a good handicap chase possibility.
UPDATE: Finished 7th of 10 in a Handicap Hurdle at Kempton on 26th December
UPDATE: Finished 3rd of 7 on going after debut in a Newbie Handicap Chase at Newcastle on 15th January

Norn Iron
Seven-year-old gelding. Soldier of x Coco Des Champs.
Mr Paul Kelly.
One win and 3 runner up spots last season to progress to a handicap mark of 118.
He is absolutely going chasing this season. He was always an appropriate jumper of difficulties, so I believe chasing after will draw out some improvement. Since front-running fit him in his last race, maybe that will be his method over fences. He most likely won't run before Newbury at the end of November/early December in a beginner handicap chase.
UPDATE: Finished 2nd of 9 on going after launching in a Novices' Handicap Chase at Warwick on 11th December.
UPDATE: Finished 3rd of 4 in a Novices Handicap Chase at Windsor on 1st January

UPDATE: Won a Handicap Chase in great design at Sandown on 7th March
Queens Gamble
Seven-year-old mare. Getaway x Gambling Girl.
Frost and Galvin.
Two time NHF winner and 3 time obstacle winner consisting of a listed mares amateur race. Ran two times at the Cheltenham Festival (23 Champion Bumper, 25 Mares Hurdle). Rated 134.
She's had a sorrowful summer including 2 bouts of really bad colic. It was looking exceedingly unlikely she was going to get back, so it's excellent to have her back. She is a talented mare and is going to go chasing this season. We are yet to school her as she is currently further behind in her preparation.
UPDATE: Finished 3rd in a Listed Mares' Novices' Chase at Bangor on 12th November
UPDATE: Finished 3rd of 6 in a Novices' Limited Handicap Chase at Musselburgh on 1st February
UPDATE: Won a Listed Mares' Novices Chase at Wincanton on 14th February
UPDATE: Finished 2nd of 5 in a Handicap Chase at Doncaster on 28th February
Brentford Hope
Eight-year-old gelding. Camelot x Miss Raven.
The Optimists.
One time antepost preferred for the Derby, 3 time winner on the flat and 5 time winner over difficulties. Runner approximately Constitution Hill at Cheltenham in January. Rated 139 over obstacles. 100 on the flat.
Brentford Hope is in excellent nick, we simply need the ground to be right. We are going to offer newbie chasing after a go and if that doesn't work out we can go back to difficulties.
