Dr. Allen Foster převzal pozici přednášejícího na katedře Informačních studií na Univerzitě ve Walesu, konkrétně v Aberystwyrthu v roce 2002. Přednáší na témata jako informační gramotnost, informační výzkum/hledání (information retrieval) a výzkumné metody.
