Elizabeth Orna je britská infromační vědkyně, konzultantka a autorka několika odborných publikací o informační vědě. Doktorát vystudovala na City, University of London. Pracovala pro organizaci CILIP jako informační konzultantka a školitelka. V roce 2014 odešla do důchodu, protože ztratila sluch.
Život
Vzdělání
Liz nastoupila na základní školu Alderman Wraith Grammar School známou také pod názvem Spennymoor Grammar School ve městě Durkham v roce 1935. Základní vzdělání ukončila v roce 1942. Poté získala státní stipendium a studovala na University College v Londýně. Tam vystudovala anglický jazyk a získala titul Bc., pokračovala v magisterském studiu a získala postgraduální kvalifikaci v oboru Informační věda. Má také kvalifikaci jako učitelka, kterou získala postgraduálně v Institutu pedagogiky v Londýně.
