Ruth M. Davis (*1929) byla uznávaná počítačová odbornice, pedagožka a vládní úřednice, byla jednou z prvních žen, které obdržely doktorát z matematiky. V roce 1981 založila svou vlastní společnost, která se zabývala technologiemi.
Život
Vzdělání
Bakalářský titul za studium matematiky získala na American University. Dále pokračovala ve studiu matematiky na University of Maryland, kde dosáhla nejprve na titul M.A. v roce 1952 a později i Ph.D roku 1955.
